Since I first began running my own childcare business, I longed for an easy, simple way to organize the ‘business’ of my business; a way, not only to efficiently communicate daily happenings to parents of the children already in my care, but also, to have a way to market to prospective parents so that they could quickly ‘see’ the benefits of having their children placed with me. 2.) Current parents of children in my care did not always remember or read the calendars, memos, menus, reminders – in fact, I could count on finding at least one in my driveway every hectic Friday afternoon after the flurry of pick-ups. Countless others ended up on the floor of the backseats and bottom of the diaper bags and brief cases of parents anxious to get home to relax for their weekend!
