This craft has limitless possibilities and uses supplies you probably already have on hand!

What you will need:

Elmer’s White Glue

Waxed Paper

Sand or Glitter

Directions:

  1. Using wax paper and white glue, outline and fill in a shape, or first letter of the child’s name, or even try drawing the basic outline of a cat or snake. Not exactly feeling like Picasso?  Turn the glue bottle over to the kids and have them draw a free form glue creation.
  2. While glue is still wet, have kids cover glue with sand or glitter.
  3. Let glue dry overnight and then peel glue art away from waxed paper.

Variations – If you want to hang glue art, while glue is wet, make a little mound of glue at the top and place one end of a paperclip in it.  When glue art is dry, thread a lightweight string through the paper clip.
