This craft has limitless possibilities and uses supplies you probably already have on hand!
What you will need:
Elmer’s White Glue
Waxed Paper
Sand or Glitter
Directions:
- Using wax paper and white glue, outline and fill in a shape, or first letter of the child’s name, or even try drawing the basic outline of a cat or snake. Not exactly feeling like Picasso? Turn the glue bottle over to the kids and have them draw a free form glue creation.
- While glue is still wet, have kids cover glue with sand or glitter.
- Let glue dry overnight and then peel glue art away from waxed paper.
Variations – If you want to hang glue art, while glue is wet, make a little mound of glue at the top and place one end of a paperclip in it. When glue art is dry, thread a lightweight string through the paper clip.
